Where is the real man?
I know that I am not alone, when I ask where are the “TRUE & GOOD MEN”. Truly, men from the 30’s & 40’s are better then the men in this world today. Unless I have gotten a bad seed from the African culture, then it doesn’t matter anymore to where they come from.
I use to believe that culture played alot in the being of a good man but I don’t believe that is necessarily true anymore. Living in the United states of American & being from a predominantly Black American environment, I have come across some trashy men. Men are so hurt when a female size them for who they are but fail to show themselves strong. I had been so fed up with the “Black American Men” that I went outside to opening my heart & mind to a different culture of men. “The African Man”, who is suppose to love their woman, take care of their woman & treat her like the queen that she is, huh; please, low & behold their mentality is the same. Does it depend on how long they have been influenced by America or what?
I am so sick of men recognizing that I am a good & faithful woman but seeking to destroy me because I am. This question is directed to whatever man who comes across this article:
How do you take a look at a women, recognize the good in her and decide you will destroy her by emotionally, financially, or physically demeaning her?
It is so unfair to see that our Black American/African Men are 1 of four things:
1. Abusive/Controlling
2. Gay/Full of too much Pride
3. Emotionally Disturbed
4. Deceivers
I was told by a couple of men that women can have it only one way: Either be taken care of financially without love or get much love and have to financially support. What is this world coming to where men don’t want to do a dam thing anymore.
I have never been the type of women who demands that her man be the bread winner completely & solely. “Not putting myself on the market” but I have always believed in doing it together, that way we have more. Me & whomever I partner up with have& hold it together.
I know some man will look at this and say it is the choice of men I have chosen, truly, can you set your standards so high that you have no humility for a man who seems as if he is trying. I have had better luck with the “Street Men” than I have The Good upstanding citizen(reflection on me, right?)Even when the joker have a job, he is still trying to get into my money or better yet he has been broken so much by a Jezebel that I get the backlash of him being stingy. All in all, Where is the true/good man?
