I’ll admit it. I do not always know what to get my husband for Valentine’s Day. However, here are some gifts that have been successful in the past and I know will be successful in the future.
Most men love sports. I love sports so it is easy for me to indulge this interest. If you don’t know already, find out what your hubby’s favorite sport is. Mine’s is soccer. Ticket Master is where I go to look for tickets. They have their website easily organized by popular events and by sport. If you click on the sport, they have a list of events, the date and the time. When you find the event you think you husband would like to go to, then search for ticket. You will be able to choose a section and price. After selecting, you may be asked to type in a security word. The only downside is that there is a small fee, around $5.00 for each ticket bought. However, it is very easy. A few years ago, my husband and I saw a Norway versus United States Practice World Cup game at the Home Depot center. It was a ton of fun.
Eye clops mini projector
My husband, and most men I know love electronics. This includes plasmas and projectors. Basically, the idea is to get the image at big as possible. The eye clops mini projector is just under $100. You can use DVDs, ipod or ipod phone to project an image up to 60.” This one is great because it is very small and can be taken to parties or on trips. It needs four D batteries that are not included. Find this at walmart.com.
Personalized locket keychain
This masculine keychain is made of brushed nickel. It holds two photos and can be engraved. I would suggest choosing two of your favorite pictures to insert before giving it to him. This is only $18.00 on bluechopsticks.com. It is simple but sentimental.
The third generation of the Ipod touch is a portable game player, computer and music player all in one. There is an 8GB version that holds 1,750 hours of music and ten hours of video. This one is $199.00 at the Applestore. What would be even nicer is for the gift giver to load the Ipod with his favorite songs and movies or shows. And, it would probably not be best to fill it up with sappy love tunes.
Make sure he is always on time, especially to meet you. If you are married to a businessman who is athletic get him a black watch with white numbers by Michael Kors. It has a polyurethane strap and is water resistant to 100 meters. Get it at Macy’s for $180.00.
