The top 10 American Continental Restaurants in Minneapolis are difficult to select. Through out the last decade, Minneapolis has produced and been home to many excellent restaurants. My choice for the top 10 may differ than your depending on what type of food interests you.
The Craftsman is located at 4300 E Lake Street serves organic dishes in numerous price ranges. The menu changes according to the availability of the organic products.
Grand Cafe is located at 3804 Grand Avenue South. The restaurant serves brunch, lunch and dinner. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The menu items are made with only the freshest ingredients.
Restaurant Max is located at 215 Fourth Street South and provides lunch and fine dinners. They even offer late night drinks. Flat-breads are one of their signature items.
Town Talker Tower is located at 2707 East Lake Street. The restaurant is an excellent bistro. Excellent menu items include Carr Valley cheese curds, truffle mac n’ cheese and Bacon Manhattan.
Cafe Lurcat is located at 1624 Harmon Place. An eclectic array of menu items are served to its customers. Such items as rack of lamb and Kampuchea sashimi are only two of the exquisite dishes served.
Sanctuary Restaurant is located at 903 Washington which is located in downtown Minneapolis. New American cuisine is served in this elegant yet contemporary restaurant.
Bank is located at 88 South 6th Street in the Western Hotel. An excellent bistro restaurant with fantastic décor and lovely ambiance.
Mission American Kitchen and Bar is located at 88 South 6th Street. This bistro restaurant is a classy yet pricey restaurant. The cuisine is well worth the extra few dollars. The menu items are made with fresh ingredients including grilled Costa Rican mahi, truffle cream cheese wontons and bacon wrapped pork.
Modern Cafe is located at 307 13th Avenue North East. This fine establishment services organic menu items. These items include chevre potato ravioli, duck confit hash and an excellent pot roast with mashed potatoes.
Porter & Frye is located at 1115 2nd Avenue South in Ivy Hall. This restaurant serves excellent fish, seafood and steak. The Starwood Ivy Hotel houses this fine bistro restaurant. A fine dining establishment were excellent cuisine such as coho salmon, prime New York steak, lobster, Parmesan crusted walleye and charred ahi tuna may be enjoyed.
