The Movie Escape from Salbibor Review

by tinyswot

I came home from work and decided to watch an old movie. I watched the movie Escape from Salbibor and it was a great movie. At one point I began to cry and I was crying really hard. If you have not seen this movie you should. I gained a new respect for people and realized my problems are nothing compared to the mental and physical abuses that these people endured.

I know that sometimes I feel like my life is not as it should be and that I just don’t like much of anything, or anyone. After I watched this show I felt like a very selfish person with all the complaining I have done since my mother passed away in July 2009. The real people that were in these concentration camps had real loss.

Can you imagine being a wife and mother and some of your children were taken to work. Then you and your infant or younger children, or daughters, were stripped of your clothing and ready to be taken to your death. As a mother I cannot imagine the feelings that went through those mothers as they could not protect there children. As a mother I would want to do anything to protect my child or children.

Yet because of one man this was impossible for these people to do and many died horrible deaths. To those who survived this or the generations that preceded them. I feel that if the entire world were as strong as they had been we would be a loving, giving and non complaining society.

I felt rage, terror, pain, guilt for these people as if they were my family. I want my readers to watch that movie if you can and feel what it is saying. As you walk about doing your daily deeds and getting angry because something is not going right. Or when you said yes to something and you should have said no. Rember that anything we do, anything we say has the potential to change the entire world.

I want to know that I make a difference for the good of all. If you don’t believe me think of it this way. As I once read in Power of Positive Imaging by Norman Vencent Peale, here are some individuals that changed an entire world. Rosa Parks=Positive Change, Martin Luther King=Postive Change, The first person to open a Battered Womans Shelter=Positve. On the negative side Hitler=Negative, 9-11 in New York =Negative and all of these where millions were affected by one persons belief and actions.

So the next time your going to do something ask yourself the question How is this going to effect the world? God bless the many who survived this and the souls who died trying. You made a difference! Thank you for my freedom.
