The Bachelor Season Premiere Marks Return of Pilot Jake Pavelka

by tinyswot

The Bachelor season premiere is almost here for fans of the show. This season premiere of The Bachelor will re-introduce fans of the franchise to bachelor Jake Pavelka, who will be trying to find his soul-mate from 25 new girls that are joining the show this season. Jake Pavelka competed on The Bachelorette as he tried to woo Jillian Harris, only to be sent home right before the hometown dates episode. A lot of fans of the show were sad when Pavelka was eliminated from the show, and now ABC has brought him back for another chance at love. The good looking Pavelka should definitely draw in audiences interested in seeing how his story turns out.

Jake Pavelka is a 31-year-old pilot from Denton, Texas, and was widely considered to be a nice (and honest) guy when he was on The Bachelorette pining for Jillian Harris. ABC is using the slogan that “millions of women have had their own high-flying fantasies about him”, leading to him becoming a fan favorite of both fans and production of the show. With such a positive outlook on Pavelka, it makes a lot of sense for ABC to bring him back for another season of their franchises, and they also have 25 new women who would like nothing more than to be chosen by Pavelka during the season.

The season premiere for this season of The Bachelor is set to air on Monday, January 4th, 2010. The show will be back on ABC, beginning with the two-hour premiere where everyone gets a chance to meet the new suitors, and to figure out which ones have the best chance to advance on the show. As with past seasons of The Bachelor, the way that the show works is that Jake Pavelka tries to get to know the women as best he can through one-on-one time, individual dates, and group dates. Each episode will have a rose ceremony, where the contestants he has come to like (or even love) get a rose and are asked to remain on the show. The ones that don’t receive a rose are sent home, sometimes in very emotional moments. The season all works down to the final two women, where the object is for Jake Pavelka to propose to one of them in The Bachelor season finale.

It looks like an interesting group of women that will be competing for the love of Jake Pavelka, and it will be interesting to see how often he brings up what took place with Jillian Harris during this season of the show. Hints from The Bachelor season premiere show that there is going to be a football scrimmage with the girls, and that Jake Pavelka is going to have to eliminate 10 girls from the show right away. That will leave 15 of the 25 girls left to compete in this dating show for the remainder of the season. Will Jake Pavelka find love? Tune in on Monday’s to find out.
