One of the most important parts of a beauty routine is the cleanser. Having a good cleanser is extremely important because it cleans your face before and after applying makeup in both the morning and night. There are certain important things you should look for when finding a good cleanser. Firstly, a cleanser should not leave any dirt on your skin. When you wash your face, whether you still have makeup on or not, your cleanser should remove all dirt, debris, and makeup. You can tell you have a toner that doesn’t work when you put toner on a cotton pad and wipe it over your face. If the cotton pad has dirt on it still, then your cleanser didn’t do the job. Additionally, a good cleanser should moisturize and hydrate without drying out your face. These are just good qualities of a good cleanser.
My skin is naturally very oily and dry at the same time because I have combination skin. My skin is very oily along my T-Zone (my nose and forehead area). My skin is also dry along my chin and cheeks. Additionally, my skin is very acne-prone. I tend to break out badly during that time of the month and when I wear too thick of a layer of makeup. I’ve tried numerous products before with good and bad results. Some cleansers will dry out my skin badly, so much that it causes my skin to peel. On the other hand, some cleansers will leave my skin over moisturized and greasy. The perfect cleanser for me is one that leaves my face toned and hydrated while getting rid of my acne.
One brand that I’ve used before is DDF Skincare. DDF has a wide variety of different products for just about any skincare need. DDF has products for anti-aging, acne, hyperpigmentation, aging prevention, and more. One product line I frequently buy from is the Acne line, which has several different products that help with acne and acne prevention. While browsing the DDF website, I revisited their acne line. I was looking for a quality cleanser, so I decided to purchase the DDF Blemish Foaming Cleanser in a 6.6 fl. oz. bottle for $32 directly from the DDF website. According to the website, the DDF Blemish Foaming Cleanser helps prevent acne, keeps pores clear, and removes excess oil.
When I received the product in the mail, I immediately was excited to use it. In order to use it, I followed the directions exactly. You first dampen your face with warm water and then apply a small amount of the foaming cleanser to your hands. Then you massage the product over your entire face, avoiding your eyes and eye area. After applying, I left the product on my face for a minute or two before rinsing off. When you rinse off, you have to make sure you remove it all and then pay your skin dry with a washcloth.
The first thing I noticed when I applied the DDF Blemish Foaming Cleanser is the scent. It has a crisp, clean scent that isn’t too overpowering. The next thing I noticed was how clean the cleanser left my face. My face was literally spotless. Also, over time of about 4 weeks of twice daily use, the cleanser left my skin virtually acne-free. The only thing that happened was an occasional break out of only a few blemishes. I was completely satisfied with the cleanser over all.
All in all I would rate this cleanser a 5/5. It’s literally the perfect cleanser. It gets rid of blemishes and acne, just like it promises. The bottle also lasts a long time. It lasted me about three months with twice daily use. I would easily recommend this product to anyone with blemish issues or oily skin.
