Romantic Restaurants in Seattle to Wine and Dine that Certain Someone on Valentine’s Day

by tinyswot

Seattle offers all the Northwest has to offer with the freshest ingredients along with a unique culinary touch. These are just some of the best romantic restaurants in Seattle:

Cellar 46 is located on Mercer Island at 7650 SE 27th Street Unit 120.

Cellar 46 is one of the Northwest’s favorite destinations for wine enthusiasts. Cellar 46 has one of the largest selections of wines in their wine shop and on their restaurant wine list, thereby making it a favorite spot for special occasions. The bar and restaurant provide an intimate gathering spot in which people can come for wine tastings and to enjoy wine friendly food in a warm relaxed inviting atmosphere. The menu includes a variety of daily specials including steak, pastas and seafood, along with a wide variety of cheeses and desserts. Hours for this smartly done restaurant for the connoisseur are most days from 2PM to 10PM for more information and reservations call 206-407-3016. cellar46.com

The Woodman Lodge Steakhouse Bar and Restaurant is located at 38601 SE King Street in Snoqualmie and is like stepping back into one of those truly beautiful old saloon restaurants.

The Woodman Lodge is a stunningly historic building in the downtown part of old Snoqualmie. The decor is really so impressive you just want to get up and look around. You are immediately greeted by friendly wait staff, followed by seeing the antique stove a glow with welcoming warmth and a chandelier that is so magnificent that it entrances you. There is a amazing bar area and candles are all glowing with a piano playing and if you do go to the bar the bartender will greet you and ask you how your day is going and have a cocktail in front of you even before you have had time to take off your coat. The food is enticing and the Cowboy steak is the best around, plus nothing on the menu is too pricey and everything is big portions so you won’t go hungry. The hours for service are 11:30AM-4PM for lunch and 4PM-10PM for dinner. Call 425-888-4441 for more information and reservations. www.woodmanlodge.com

The Local Vine in Belltown area is located at 2520 2nd Avenue in Seattle.

The Local Vine is one of Seattle’s premier wine restaurants and wine is what this restaurant is all about whether it is sold by the glass or by the bottle. The menu is flattering to the wines and not overpowering. The menu consists of very local and organic ingredients to highlight the wines and satisfy the palate. The menu has a wine bar food portion and small plate portion along with cheeses and desserts. This restaurant is perfect for a relaxing romantic wine tasting dinner. Serving hours are 4PM until Midnight most days. Call 206-441-6000 for reservations and more information. www.thelocalvine.com

Chez Shea or Shea’s Lounge is located at 94 Pike Street, Suite 34 in Downtown Seattle.

Chez Shea is really the best place for a romantic night out. It boasts a great atmosphere and service and sits quietly perched above Pike Place Market. Chez has the best soup in town and the bar is a fine place to stop for a drink. Chez Shea has the ultimate dining experience with a chef multiple course tasting menu which includes pairings to die for. The a la carte menu consists of items such as oysters on the half shell, beef tartare and duck breast. I love the wide array of delectable desserts and the service is impeccable. Dining hours start at 5PM and you should call for reservations this restaurant is tucked out of the way and is not suitable for small children. Call 206-467-9990 for information and reservations. This is my favorite hideaway romantic pick for a Valentine destination with that certain someone in Seattle. www.chezshea.com

Cafe Campagne is located in downtown Seattle at 1600 Post Aly.

Cafe Campagne has gotten rave reviews ever since it opened and has been named one of Seattle’s top restaurants by the Seattle Times, plus many other accolades. This restaurant is like a piece of Paris in Seattle, it is charming, bohemian, uniquely french in every sense of the word. For anyone who is French coming to a place like Cafe Campagne is like being back in France with all the tastes and mood of France. The menu consists of items such as Croque-savoyard and Quiche du jour just to name a couple, however don’t worry the menu also has an English translation. The prices are relatively reasonable but the food is magnificent so well worth any price and the romance invoked by France is indescribable. Hours of operation are 11AM-5PM for lunch and 5PM-10PM for dinner. For reservations and information call 206-728-2233. www.campagnerestaurant.com

All of these restaurants provide a romantic atmosphere and some of the most unique culinary menus around. Any one of these restaurants would be a perfect place to take someone in Seattle for Valentine’s Day or any other special occasion.
