OPI’s newest line of nail polish is called “The Hong Kong Collection” is a wide variety of colors from vibrant to subtle. While OPI nail colors are great there are quite a few that oftentimes are very similar but are named differently. The Hong Kong Collection is no different. Here is a brief overview of the twelve colors in this collection.
Red My Fortune Cookie: This is a vibrant red that really is not much different than “I’m Not Really a Waitress”. It does have some more of an orange undertone than most reds.
Bling Dynasty: The second of 12 colors is a yellow shade that reminds me a lot of spicy mustard with some glitter. It is pretty bold and shiny. Wear with caution.
A Good Man-Darin is Hard to Find:This shade is an orange that screams summer. It is bright and bold without being neon.
Hot & Spicy: Hot & Spicy is a pretty coral shade that is reminiscent of “Cajun Shrimp”.
Chop-Sticking to My Story: This shiny and glittery shade is a light shade of brown. This color is a like butterscotch putting with glitter streaming through it.
Jade Is the New Black: This color is just as the name suggests. A vibrant and deep shade of green that is similar to the color of Jade.
Suzi Says Feng Shui: This color is a bright and vibrant blue. This shade is between cobalt and sky blue that will be attention getting for sure!
Dim Sum Plum: This shade is a pretty berry shade that is a pretty combination of raspberry and bright pink combined to make a subtle fuschia. This shade is reminiscent of “Manicurist of Seville” from the Espana collection.
Meet Me On the Star Ferry: This is a glittery shade of purple.
Lucky, Lucky Lavender: A light lavender this color is a refreshing change from the standard pink with its slight hint of purple.
Panda-Monium Pink: A pretty shade of light pink is perfect under a French Manicure or used on its own for a natural nail look.
Pearl Of Wisdom: An iridescent pearly white, Pearl of Wisdom is not a color for everyone but is a very pretty summer color.
All in all the “Hong Kong Collection” is nice. It has some offerings for those who like conservative colors along with those who like to live on the edge. OPI hits the mark again with its wide range of colors and unique memorable names.
