Kansas Jayhawks is the Number 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. While the Jayhawks has seen a great year in basketball, will they prove it in the NCAA tournament with their #1 seed spot? Kansas is followed by Kentucky, Duke and Syracuse as the other top seeds in their divisions. I am not surprised the Jayhawks made it as a number 1 seed since they have been all the rave in the local news sports sections.
With that in mind, many followers on Twitter wondered why Kansas didn’t get the play-in? Some of the seed followers for the NCAA tournament, thought Kentucky and Kansas had the hardest road to take over #2 seed Duke. One guy stated he thought Kansas was handed the buzzsaw bracket. Yet another guy felt the Jayhawks got the SmokeMonster Region while Duke received the Richard Alpert Eyeliner hookup. Maybe, that’s why I wondered if Kansas could keep their strong playing going during tournament.
Some twitterers wondered why Duke got the easy bracket to play while Kansas was put into the the tougher games? With this in mind, one person thought it would be doesn’t make it to the Sweet 16, fans could point and laugh since they had the easy out during the tournament. Again it doesn’t bother me who is in what bracket because I don’t plan to watch any of the games, but I am sure I will hear my brother’s thoughts on who should be doing what during the tournies.
A few people wondered why Kansas and OSU were in the same regional? These same people wondered why it shouldn’t be Kansas as #1 seed and OSU be in at the #2 seed? While I don’t have the answers to these questions, I suspect they will be answered soon enough for college hoops fans.
Who Tweeters Think Will Make it to The Final Four
The following are a few people who, after hearing the seeds for each division, have chosen their favorite college teams to be in the Final Four.
