Things You Will Need
14 Frozen Diet Meals i.e. Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones, etc.
Raw and Frozen Vegetables i.e. spinach, broccoli, etc.
A vinaigrette dressing
Fresh Pineapple (you can buy this already cut)
Lean meats and fish like salmon, boneless chicken breast, turkey, and tuna
Healthy Choice Smokey Turkey Lunch meat that is 98% fat free
If you drink soda only buy the diet or get something to mix with water like Crystal Lite.
Access to a Gym
Weigh yourself to determine your current weight. Notate your weight with the date on your notepad. Everyday document what you are eating and your weight so that you are holding yourself accountable. Make a list of things to buy at the grocery store to last you 2 weeks. Purchase the items at your store. For breakfast you can have cottage cheese, pineapple, and a slice of bacon. Or you can have a bowl of oatmeal and a slice of bacon. The cottage cheese is quite filling and oatmeal will also give you a good hearty start to your morning.
You can have one snack during the day in the form of 2 slices of the Healthy Choice 98% fat free turkey or snack on a cup of fresh vegetables. For lunch you can have a spinach salad with fresh vegetables and add in canned tuna or salmon. For the sake of time it is often better to do canned so you do not have to cook anything.
For dinner have one of the Lean Cuisine meals, Smart Ones, or the Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers. Select a frozen vegetable to have with it like spinach, lima beans, or broccoli. If you are craving something sweet for dessert have a couple of slices of fresh pineapple. You can always alternate and have one of the frozen diet meals at lunch and then have a salad with a reasonable portion of meat for dinner. Try to fit in 1 hour of cardio per week like walking on a treadmill, or outside at least 3-4 times a week. Take a multi vitamin on a daily basis and drink as much water as possible.
Tips for Success
Avoid the temptation to buy things that are not on your list. You definitely want to avoid going down the aisle where you see cookies or ice cream on display, unless you are immune to impulse buying. Take the stairs at work, and when you go shopping park where you may have to walk a little bit to encourage yourself to walk more. Stick to not eating regular salad dressing and not drinking regular sodas and juices.
Drinking freshly brewed green tea is an excellent beverage with many benefits to the body. Another good idea for a beverage is to add cucumber slices and lemon slices to a pitcher of iced water. Many day spas and resorts do this to add a refreshing and satisfying twist to what we normally drink everyday. It has long been said that lemon juice helps to suppress the appetite, so if you are not fond of cucumbers you can use the lemon in your water by itself.In general avoid eating fried foods and white breads. During the first two weeks of this eating plan avoid breads completely. Always read the labels at the grocery store and know what you are putting into your body. If you follow these tips for success, you will feel and look much better on the beach when it is time to put on your swimsuit, and you will feel much better on a daily basis.
