Being and first time mom and especially with my husband in the military so many time I am a single mom a good place to find advice is a must. My husband left when our son was 6 weeks old for deployment and didn’t get home until he was almost 7 months. With baby number 2 on the way and hubby getting ready to deploy again I need advice from other moms when it comes to what is going on. I have my friends and family but then I found MamaSaurus.net and the ladies there are amazing!
I tried quite a few mom groups around town and also Café Mom and found them so impersonal and hard to get the advice you need. MamaSaurus (MMS) isn’t like that. When I joined I posted a welcome message and got so many responses and warm welcomes so much different than any site I have tried! I then took a look around and WOW! They have different room for EVERYTHING! This site isn’t just for moms but for ladies who are pregnant or trying to conceive too. They have rooms for advice based on age group, they have a place for kid product reviews and they announce new recalls too. They have a forum for moms with kids with special needs too.
Then they have a room for ladies TTC, those who are pregnant, pregnancy loss, adoption and even naming your baby! They have section for feeding and schooling. They have a who section dedicated to potty training will all sorts of tips and tricks plus ladies post their experiences and what worked for them. You can then ask your questions and the ladies that have been in your shoes can answer and help you out!
They also have a section called ‘Melting Pot of Mamas’ this section has different forum like for step-moms, single moms, military moms, new moms, moms of multiples, Alternative moms and even fur-mom for mom with fur-babies(pets).
Then there are the sections for us moms that don’t have anything to do with the kiddos! They have a section you can post in anonymously if you have any problems and don’t want people to know who you are. They have a room for rants and a room for tissue posts, health, engagements, wedding, living on a budget, relationship advice and even a ‘under the sheets’ room.
They also have a random room for fun questions, a picture room to share your pictures, they have rooms for each section of the country and even overseas so you can plan meet ups with other moms in your area. They have a crafty moms room, news and debate room, entertainment room, game room and a bulletin board to try to sell things. They have a Shameless Plug room where you can advertise your home business and even a library room to discuss books. Let’s not forget the working moms room, the WAHM, SAHM, and student moms rooms.
So stop in if you have any questions, are looking for support or just want to have a good time and meet new people.
