Overview Final Fight: Double Impact includes two stand alone games in the package.
Final Fight- Final Fight takes you on a journey in Metro City where the mayor’s daughter has been kidnapped by evil criminals planning to take over the city. Your mission will be to find this woman and save the city at all costs. Gamers will be able to select 3 different people to play through the game with including wrestler Haggar, martial artist Cody and Guy.
Magic Sword- In Magic Sword there is a Dark Lord using a magical orb in his quest to destroy the world. Users will play as The Brave One has he makes his way through a 51 floor castle in order to reach the Dark Lord and end his evil ways. There are multiple endings to this game depending on the choices that you make along the way.
Blast from the past: If you are a fan of classic beat-um-up games then you will surely be a fan of these two games. With simple controls and basic storyline’s it is very easy to operate these arcade style games.
Online Multiplayer: One positive about this game is the ability to use a unique online multiplayer. While connected to the internet, other users will be able to enter into your game at any time just like in an arcade.
Graphics: I’m sure for many people this may not be considered a negative, but I simply can’t get past the graphics of this title. These games were released in 1989 and 1990. If they were planning on rereleasing on the Xbox360 platform there should be some upgrade in graphics. However, there are no improvements visually and that is a bit of a disappointment.
Difficulty Level: In a nutshell, this game is too easy. Many gamers will find this game package to simply be too easy and not very entertaining. This game simply does not have a lot to offer in the way of challenges and most experienced gamers will fly through each of these titles. These games were created to be played in the arcade without the ability to save your progress and advance. Therefore players would have to insert more coins and start over from the beginning. Now with modern save options these games will be a breeze.
