Do you want smooth skin, tightness and firmness in your face? Do you hunger for your complexion to be spotless? Well look no further, after searching the net for something to clear up my own skin and at the same time make it feel very firm and luxurious, I stumbled upon an at-home skin care remedy that’s actually a homemade mask that is made from items you may already have at home, or can buy for cheap! It’s called the Aspirin & Honey mask – and it’s homemade!. When I first read all over the new about the Aspirin & Honey mask, I thought , “Ew, Honey on your skin? What a mess!” I was so desperate at the time willing to try anything, that I ventured out to get my products for this Aspirin & Honey mask hoping that it would do if not something, anything for my skin! The best part about the Aspirin & Honey mask is that it’s under $5 and can be made right at home!
So how do you make this homemade mask? It’s so easy a child could do t (but I do NOT recommend a child doing it!) First, you will need a box or bottle or non-coated aspirin, these are found anywhere, I got mine at the dollar store and still have so many left for more Aspirin & Honey masks! They can also be found at your local CVS, WalMart, anywhere that sells medicine basically – just make sure they do not have the gel-like coating on them. It should say it on the box – you don’t want “gel tablets,” the Aspirin itself will look like small white pills. Now that you have your aspirins, you need your honey – yes, honey! The same honey you put in your tea, and if you don’t own any honey, it can be found in any food store, possibly even at the dollar store. I just get the medium size bottle, that’s lasts me about a month from doing the Aspirin & Honey mask 2-3 times a week. The last thing you’ll need is a couple drops of water, so unless you haven’t paid your water bill – I’m sure you already have tons of water to work with. As for the materials for the Aspirin & Honey mask, grab a small plate or dish and either a butter knife, or I just use the end of a toothbrush to mix my homemade mask together.
Before I go on to telling you how to make the homemade Aspirin & Honey mask, here’s the quick 411 on the benefits of using these homemade products on your face. First, aspirin contains salicylic acid. Look on the back of any acne or blemish fighting product in your drug store, and you will most likely see that the product contains anywhere from 1-2% of this chemical. Salicylic is also an exfoliate for the skin, and exfoliation of your skin is needed to unclog pores, and fight those stubborn black heads. As for the honey part of the mask, the honey actually has tiny enzymes that help your skin feel smooth, look younger, and softer! But my favorite thing about the honey is how it makes your skin feel very tight and firm after just one use of the Aspirin & Honey Mask, trust me you’ll see as soon as you try the homemade mask for yourself.
The directions to the mask are quite simple. Take your plate or dish, and put four aspirins on it. Turn on the water and wet the tip of any finger, allowing only a very small amount of water to be left on it. Take this finger, and put one DROP of water on each aspirin. Let the aspirins sit for about 30-45 seconds, and now take your weapon of choice (like I said, I use the end of a toothbrush) and mush the aspirins up a bit. Now, add about one tea spoon, or table spoon of your honey on top of the aspirins. I would now take the end of my toothbrush once again, and mix the aspirin and honey together to form a past, making sure to not blend too well because you need the aspirin somewhat rough to rub into your skin which will do the job of your exfoliating. Now that you have your past, rub the mixture all over your face and jaw line, leaving on for about 10 minutes. After your time is up, simply rinse away and ahh.. fresh, clean, firm skin! Do this once a night 2 times a week, and you will not only see, but feel the results. Do not use if irritation occurs or you are allergic to honey or aspirin.
