The Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup will be revealed in less than 12 hours. But the Dancing With the Stars lineup is being unveiled a bit differently this time around. In the recent past, the new dancers were revealed during Good Morning America, for a bit of ABC cross promotion. Yet this time, ABC is going especially all out to give the announcement a bit stage. In fact, the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup is now part of the final night of The Bachelor.
Reality fans are already set to tune in for tonight’s Bachelor finale. Tonight, as if the latest Bachelor season hasn’t been wild enough, one of ABC’s other reality hits is using it as a platform. During the finale, the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup will be officially disclosed.
Speculation is already rampant on who will be dancing this spring. Already, the Washington Post is reporting a rather big get for the show. Continuing the tradition of way out there contestants, Dancing With the Stars may have added Kate Gosselin to the 2010 lineup.
Gosselin has admitted on The Jay Leno Show that she cannot dance, but she wanted to be on the show to ‘laugh at myself.’ Others have done that already over the years, and now Gosselin may have that chance to do it herself. The Washington Post got this information from ‘a source with knowledge of the situation’ so nothing can be officially confirmed until tonight.
But now that the word is out, Gosselin fans will be another new demographic tuning into the Bachelor finale night. Yet in all likelihood, they will save announcing the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup until the “After The Final Rose” special from 10-11 p.m. EST. Even then, it probably won’t happen until the very end, and after The Bachelorette is chosen.
Gosselin isn’t the only big name rumored for the show, however. Paula Abdul denied rumors that she would be named, while Pamela Anderson is expected to be on the list. Greg Louganis, Kevin Federline, Evan Lysacek and John Stamos are also rumored choices, according to Buddy TV.
No matter how many names are brought up, there’s sure to be one or two big surprises on the final list. If form holds, the Dancing With the Stars 2010 lineup will have a good share of athletes, celebrities, musicians, C-listers, and famous people no one could picture on the dance floor. Kate Gosselin could have filled that slot already, but who else could join her?
That will be answered at some point on ABC tonight, as part of a major night of reality. The Bachelor finale airs from 8-10 p.m. EST, followed by ‘After The Final Rose’, in which the Bachelorette and the new dancing lineup should be announced.
