I love cooking and I especially love cooking with kids. I can think of no better way to spend a couple of hours, then in the kitchen sharing my passion for food and creating recipes with a child. Cooking with children is important on so many levels. First it gives the child a skill he or she will carry throughout their lifetime. Second it teaches the child to follow directions and take responsibility. Cooking is fun, creative and a mix of art with science. Making a recipe that has been passed down through the family is a great way to build family traditions and keep family history alive.
Because I am enjoy entering cooking contest I am always on the lookout for cooking contest for kids. Here are a few coming up for the year 2010.
