Although it is common knowledge that stomach pain is usually caused by something in the food you ate, it may also be brought about by stress. A stressed lifestyle usually causes an individual to develop the wrong eating habits such as overeating, irregular eating and binge eating. Flatulence is simply the release of gasses that are produced in the gastro intestinal tract. Gas may come from the air that is swallowed during eating and drinking or it may come from foods such as beans, cabbages and broccoli. People who smoke, frequently chew gum and those who regularly drink soda and other carbonated drink will pass gas more frequently.
