Finding the right body wash can be difficult. You really want something that is going to get your skin clean, not leave any residue, and smells good. Over the years I’ve used a variety of different body washes with very little luck. Most of them are either overly hydrating or leave your skin too dry. I recently set out to find a great body wash for a good price. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised too, just like I was.
The skin on my arms, legs, and chest are naturally very dry. I often have dry, flakey skin during the winter too. On top of this, I have Keratosis Pilaris, which is characterized by bumpy, rough skin and sometimes tiny red round bumps on my arms. This makes me very self-conscious when wearing t-shirts or tank tops. A lot of body washes I’ve tried have caused my skin to become even more so dry and flakey. Others have been miracle products and have actually reduced my Keratosis Pilaris. Recently, I wanted to try a new body wash to see how it would work on my skin.
One of my favorite skin care and bath product brands is Bliss. Bliss has a wide variety of different products ranging from face masks to moisturizers to shampoo, and yes, even body wash. I had never used Bliss body wash before, but I figured it was worth a try.
While browsing the website one day, I stumbled across their bath section and noticed a body gel that seemed intriguing. It was Bliss Lemon and Sage Soapy Suds Body Wash and Bubbling Bath. I was very curious about the scent. I absolutely love lemon and sage separately and they seemed like they would be a good combination together. Instead of buying the travel size bottle from the BlissWorld.com website, I decided to purchase the full size 16 fl oz. bottle from Sephora for $18. I immediately thought this was a great deal, especially with free shipping.
Upon receiving the product, I immediately decided to try it out. I ran a hot bath, poured some of the Bliss Lemon and Sage Soapy Suds Body Wash and Bubbling Bath on a wash cloth and massaged it into my skin, concentrating on my back, shoulders, and arm the most, since this is where a majority of my Keratosis Pilaris is. The product foams up pretty well too. Since the bottle also says it can be used for bubble bath, I decided to pour some in the tub and take a soak too. Best idea yet!
After the bath, my skin was smelling fresh and had a lovely, and clean, lemon sage smell to it from the Bliss Lemon and Sage Soapy Suds Body Wash and Bubbling Bath. My skin felt soft and refreshed. After using daily for a month, I really didn’t notice any difference in my Keratosis Pilaris, but I was fine with that. It’s a permanent condition anyway, but someones acne body washes help.
Overall, I would rate Bliss Lemon and Sage Soapy Suds Body Wash and Bubbling Bath a 5/5. It’s a high quality body wash and bubble bath that got my skin smelling fresh and clean and left my skin feeling extra soft. Definitely check this one out!
