There’s nothing quite like ordering breakfast out in a restaurant that takes pride in their food. Whenever you walk into a restaurant in the morning, the smells of bacon, eggs, coffee, and sausages fill the air. It’s as if you immediately want to order a big breakfast. You don’t get those olfactory sensations in a restaurant during lunch or dinner. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but that has been my experience whenever I’ve had breakfast in a local restaurant. It’s always so welcoming when you’ve been driving for hours on end and stop at a diner for a hearty breakfast meal. Needless to say the “mom and pop” type restaurants that exclusively serve breakfast are becoming a thing of the past with so many chain restaurants taking over now. It isn’t quite the same with those types of restaurants, because they are in a hurry to get customers in and out, like a revolving door. However, there are still a few local breakfast restaurants in the Tampa Bay area that you can experience having a delicious homemade breakfast. These are four restaurants that serve breakfast with two in Tampa and the others in Pinellas, Florida. Here now is a guide providing you with locations, menu, prices, and atmosphere.
1.) The Brunchery Restaurant – Tampa, Florida
Located in South Tampa since 1985 on South MacDill Avenue is this combo breakfast and lunch restaurant that is a neighborhood favorite in Palma Ceia serving only the freshest ingredients and providing exceptional service. The owner Greg Elliot and his staff at the Brunchery offer some of the most delicious breakfast items such as Benedicts, including the famous Eggs Benedict, Omelets, Crepes, French Toast, Waffles and Pancakes ranging in prices on their breakfast menu as low as $4.79 to $7.79. Their prices may seem high, but you get a lot for your money. Just reading over the menu made my mouth water. Like it states on their website it is breakfast at its best. They are certainly not kidding. Their hours are Monday – Sunday from 8AM to 2PM.
