Easter season is here and the Easter Bunny can be found at many favorite Pittsburgh locations. Here are five places where you can take your children to see the Easter Bunny in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Enjoy Breakfast or Lunch with the Easter Bunny at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium
The Pittsburgh Zoo hosts breakfast and lunch with the Easter Bunny on March 27th & 28th and on April 3rd. Children will have the opportunity to do an Easter craft, decorate Easter cookies and eat either breakfast or lunch with the Easter bunny. Admission to the Pittsburgh Zoo is included and the price is $15 for zoo member s and $18 for non members. Breakfast is served at 9:30 a.m. and lunch at noon.
Bunny Fun Cruises on the Gateway Clipper
Gather up your little ones and head to Station Square for the Gateway Clipper’s “Bunny Fun Cruise”. The Bunny Fun Cruise is held on April 3rd. The cruise begins boarding from the dock at Station Square at 1:00 and departs at 1:30. The cruise returns at 3:30. While onboard children will have the opportunity to visit with the Easter Bunny, decorate Easter eggs and dance. The price is $16.50 for adults and $9.50 for children twelve and under.
Easter Bunny Trolley Ride
The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum which is located in Washington, PA hosts trolley rides with the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny trolley rides are held on March 27th and 28th and on April 2nd and 3rd. Easter Bunny Events at Pittsburgh’s Animal Friends
Pittsburgh Animal Friends hosts two different Easter events this year. The first is “Breakfast with the rabbits”. Youngsters can join the Easter Bunny for breakfast and then visit with Easter Bunny’s many rabbit cousins as they go on a “rabbit run”. This is the perfect opportunity for children to learn about the responsibilities involved with having a rabbit as a pet. For the safety of the rabbits no pets are invited to this Easter event. Admission is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children ten and under. Registration is required and can be made by contacting Animal Friends at 412.847.7055. The breakfast is held on Sunday, March 21st from 9:00 until 11:00.
The second event hosted by Pittsburgh’s Animal Friends is “Pet pictures with the Easter Bunny”. The price for having your family pet photographed with the Easter Bunny is 3 photos for $10. Pet photos with the Easter Bunny will be taken on Sunday March 21st between the hours of 10:00 and 4:00.
